SHK Architects are practicing in the fields of architecture, interior design, conservation and urban design since three decades. We are a design firm having a definite thought process and philosophy to work towards enhanced built environments, sensitive, contextual and traditional architecture and interiors within a contemporary framework. We believe in environment- conscious architecture seeking inspiration from nature and tradition. Our efforts are consciously directed towards application of energy efficient principles to building and interior design and having a sustainable output.

Over the years the firm has designed for various prestigious institutional, commercial, public sector, residential and hospitality projects with each holding its own distinctive identity. Our practise takes up inspiration from vernacular architecture fused with modern technology to achieve simplicity and integrity with nature - “Contemporary Vernacular”

SHK Architects have been recipients of various prestigious national and international awards including the INTBAU International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism Excellence Award, UK in 2018 in the category of ‘New Building’ promoted by the then HRH Prince Charles at the Royal Society of Arts, London.
